‘All Of Sony Systems’ Allegedly Hacked By New Ransomware Group


A new dark web group, Ransomed.vc, claims to have breached all of Sony’s systems in a ransomware attack, unearthing 6,000 files including internal documents and Java resources. The group, reportedly operating out of Russia and Ukraine, plans to sell the data rather than ransom it. Sony has yet to comment on the alleged breach. This follows a major hack in 2011 when Sony’s PlayStation Network had 77 million accounts compromised.
