SpecterDev has released a payload for all hackable PS5 Firmwares, enabling the decryption of system binaries, libraries, and games. This development, previously only possible on Firmware 4.03, allows for reverse engineering, modding games, finding system vulnerabilities, and patching the system for hacking purposes. The payload uses kernel arbitrary read/write to decrypt Signed ELFs (SELFs) and dump the plaintext ELFs to a USB drive.
