Paper Retracted When Authors Caught Using ChatGPT to Write It


A paper published in Physica Scripta has been retracted after it was discovered that the authors used a chatbot to draft the article, violating ethical policies. The incident highlights the increasing use of AI in academia and the challenges in identifying AI-generated content. The issue was uncovered by Guillaume Cabanac, a computer scientist who has been investigating the use of AI in published papers since 2015.
