Mathematicians find 12,000 new solutions to ‘unsolvable’ 3-body problem

An international team of mathematicians has discovered 12,000 new solutions to the three-body problem, a complex issue in physics and mathematics involving the gravitational interaction between three bodies in space. The solutions, which have yet to undergo peer review, could potentially aid astronomers in understanding the cosmos, provided they prove to be stable.
