Company says it will replace creative workers with ChatGPT-like generative AI


GPT-4 says:
China’s Bluefocus Intelligent Communications Group plans to replace external copywriters and graphic designers with generative AI models, causing concerns over job displacement. The company is exploring AI technology licensing with Alibaba and Baidu. Goldman Sachs research suggests generative AI could replace a quarter of work tasks in the US and Europe, equivalent to 300 million jobs, and cause significant disruption across major economies. However, the research also indicates that 63% of the US workforce may see 25% to 50% of their workload automated, allowing them to focus on more productive tasks.
