Criminals Have Created Their Own ChatGPT Clones


Cybercriminals are reportedly developing and selling chatbots capable of generating scam emails, with systems like FraudGPT and WormGPT being sold for up to $1,700 per year. While the legitimacy of these systems is hard to verify, the FBI and Europol have warned that cybercriminals are increasingly looking to use generative AI in their operations. Despite this, researchers suggest that these AI models may not be effective in their current form, but caution that cybercriminals are likely to improve their use of such systems over time.
