AI company Xiaoice is creating AI streamers that can interact with audiences in real time, adjusting their marketing strategies based on viewer numbers. The AI clones, trained on common e-commerce scripts and gestures, can generate their own scripts with minimal human input. Xiaoice, which was spun off from Microsoft in 2020, aims to create a more human-like shopping experience. However, the rise of AI streamers has led to a decrease in job opportunities and salaries for human livestream hosts.
