GPT-4: A cancer vaccine developed by Elicio Therapeutics has shown potential in lowering the risk of relapse in patients with colon and pancreatic cancers caused by the KRAS mutation. The off-the-shelf vaccine uses peptides to bind to albumin, which then travels to the lymph nodes and creates white blood cells to fight cancer markers. In a phase 1 trial, 100% of patients had an immune response at the highest dose. The vaccine could offer a more accessible and cost-effective alternative to personalized cancer vaccines.
