Hacker Gary Bowser released from prison early, still owes Nintendo $14.5 million


GPT-4: Gary Bowser, a former member of Nintendo hacking group Team Xecuter, has been released early from his 40-month prison sentence. Bowser was arrested in 2020 for creating tools that allowed users to bypass Nintendo’s security measures and play illegal ROMs on consoles. Despite his release, Bowser still owes Nintendo $14.5 million in damages and will be required to pay 25% to 30% of his gross monthly income to the company.
